What Hedonist Chicago is
Hedonist Chicago is an independent leather goods brand. It began in 2020 from a search for leather wallets, belts and accessories that balance quality, design, function and value. The name reflects one idea: lasting satisfaction comes from things made well, not from excess. More on the story is on the About page.
How our products are made
Most Hedonist Chicago products are made by selected, established manufacturers that operate certified facilities with quality-control systems. Our Handmade Collection comes from a small group of independent workshops where the work, including stitching, is done by hand. Every product is inspected to our in-house standard.
Materials differ by product. Our wallets are made of full-grain vegetable-tanned leather. Our ratchet belts and traditional watch bands are made of top-grain leather. Each product page states the leather used for that item.

Shipping, returns and warranty
- Shipping: free standard shipping on US orders (not including Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and US territories). Standard delivery takes 3 to 7 business days. Orders placed before 1 p.m. Central Time ship the same day. See the Shipping Policy.
- Returns: 30 days from the order date for unworn, unused items in original packaging. Refund, store credit or exchange. Personalized items and items marked Final Sale cannot be returned. See the Refund Policy.
- Warranty: one year against manufacturing defects, covering stitching or hardware failure, delamination, faulty snaps and zippers, and material defects. Normal wear, patina, water damage and accidental damage are not covered. See the Warranty page.
- Personalization: free monogramming (initials or wording) on selected products. Personalized orders usually ship the next business day, and always within 2 business days. See Personalization.
