This listing is for buckle 123 by itself, not an assembled belt. It ships without a leather strap, so you will need a compatible 1.55 inch strap to complete the belt. That setup lets you pair this buckle with whichever strap color or length you already own.
It is built for 1.55 inch leather straps, which is wider than our standard belt width and gives the buckle a more substantial presence. Slide the strap through the bar so it sits flat against the frame with no gap on either side.
The frame carries a slightly heavier casting than buckles 001 through 005, giving it more visual weight without changing the strap width it needs. It is still solid brass with a light polish, so the finish and durability match the rest of the classic lineup.
It uses a screw-post fitting rather than a ratchet mechanism. Two flathead screws hold a bar through slots cut in the strap leather. Remove the screws to take an old buckle off, then fit this one on and tighten again. The process takes only a couple of minutes.
