When you flex or press the surface, the natural oils shift and a lighter area briefly appears where the pressure concentrated. The effect settles back as the leather rests. Over months of daily carry, the fold line and card slot edges build a visible record of handling that standard smooth leather does not develop in the same way. This handcrafted billfold is finished entirely by hand, slot by slot.

Wipe with a soft dry cloth after use. A slightly damp cloth handles surface marks without damaging the leather. Let air dry naturally before use.
