Pull-up leather is full-grain leather that has been heavily oiled during tanning. When you flex or press the surface, the natural oils shift and a lighter area briefly appears where the pressure concentrated. The effect settles back as the leather rests. Over months of daily carry, the fold line and slot edges build a visible record of handling that standard smooth leather does not develop in the same way.
The holder holds 12 to 18 cards depending on card thickness, plus a center pocket for folded bills or receipts. The 7.5" x 3.5" folded profile fits a front trouser pocket, jacket pocket, or small bag. Tan is the lightest color in the range and shows the pull-up effect most clearly.
Yes, and more visibly than standard smooth leather. Pull-up construction develops contact-point character faster than regular full-grain leather. The fold line and slot edges darken over months of carry while the main panels hold closer to the original tan pull-up tone. After a year of daily carry, the card holder looks more personal and considered rather than simply worn.
Wipe with a soft dry cloth after use. A slightly damp cloth handles surface marks without damaging the leather. Let air dry naturally before use. Condition once or twice a year with a neutral leather cream to keep the oil content even across the pull-up surface. Avoid prolonged water exposure and chemical cleaners, which strip oils from vegetable-tanned leather.
Personalization is available on request. Hot stamping and foil stamping in gold, silver, black, or white. Up to 120 characters of any text pressed permanently into the leather surface. Adds 1-2 business days to dispatch. A custom leather card holder in pull-up finish stamps cleanly and holds the impression well through years of daily carry.
