A zinc alloy body finished with a cool-toned plating that leans blue under direct light and gray in shade. The finish is applied evenly across the plate so the tone doesn't shift unevenly with wear.
Release the clamp on the underside of the buckle, slide out the old strap, and insert the new 1.15-inch strap before closing the clamp again. The process is the same regardless of finish or color.
The plating is fairly stable under normal daily use, though like any plated finish it can lighten slightly at high-contact edges after extended wear. Keeping it dry and wiped down helps it hold its tone longer.
Wipe with a soft dry cloth to keep dust and oils from settling into the finish. Steer clear of harsh metal polish, which can strip the cool-toned plating and expose the base metal underneath.
