Order the waist size you wear with tailored trousers. This dark brown folded-edge strap ships pre-cut to that length, and the ratchet track gives roughly an inch of adjustment on either side at the slim 1.15-inch width the blue-gray buckle is built for. Between sizes, order the larger; there's no hole position to compromise on.
Folded-edge means the leather along both edges of the strap is turned and finished rather than left raw-cut. This gives the strap a more refined profile in the belt loop and a slightly cleaner look compared to a raw-edge strap. At 1.15 inches, this detail is especially visible.
