How do I size this slim black ratchet belt?
Order your trouser waist size. The strap ships pre-trimmed. The ratchet track provides about one inch of fine-tuning in either direction. No holes, the fit isn't restricted to fixed positions. Between sizes, go with the larger.
How does the no-holes ratchet system work on this slim belt?
The strap has a row of teeth inside, the ratchet track. The buckle locks at any position. Press the lever to release. Quarter-inch increments across the strap length. This slim leather ratchet belt without holes keeps the leather intact and gives you over thirty adjustment positions.
Is this slim black belt compatible with HC 1.38" components?
No. The 1.15-inch and 1.38-inch systems use different track widths and are not cross-compatible. Within the 1.15-inch range, all HC buckles and straps are interchangeable. If you want to build combinations, stay within the same width group.
