This black and ivory belt is sized like a standard trouser belt: order your usual waist measurement. It comes pre-cut to that size with five holes covering about two inches of adjustment. When you're between sizes, size up rather than down.
This strap is full-grain vegetable-tanned leather on both the black and ivory faces, cut from the hide's toughest outer layer and tanned with plant-based tannins. Neither side is treated as secondary; both hold the same density and will develop a patina at roughly the same rate with regular wear.
Squeeze the buckle release, pull the strap free, and flip it so ivory replaces black on the front, or the reverse. Snap the buckle back onto the exposed end until it clicks. Both colors carry the same smooth edge-painted finish, so the swap looks deliberate rather than makeshift, and takes seconds once you've tried it.
