Yes, both the dark green and blue faces are full-grain vegetable-tanned leather, the most durable cut of the hide, tanned with plant-based tannins. That holds true across both widths offered. The leather starts firm and develops a natural patina with regular wear on either color.
Undo the buckle at the strap end, turn the leather over so the blue face replaces dark green, then clip the buckle onto the new side. The motion is quick and doesn't require tools. Both colors carry the same embossed HC logo and edge finish, so either direction looks complete.
